Gail Duthie, Senior Practice Nurse can treat the following minor ailments: Ear pain; Diarrhoea & Vomitting; Soft tissue injuries & sprains; Heartburn; Worms; Coughs, Colds & Chest Infections; Mouth Ulcers; Thrush; Asthma; Skin or Wound Infections - Lacerations/Boils; Abscess/Bites/Stings; Impetigo; Chickenpox; Skin rashes; Allergic Reactions; Urinary Tract Infections; Emergency Contraception; Dermatitis; Burns/Scalds; Sinusitis; Tonsillitis/Laryngitis

All nurses can help you with minor injuries, dressings, injections, removal of stitches, blood pressure, blood tests, cervical smears, breast self-examination and family planning advice. They can also advise on travel immunisations, diet, alcohol control, stress management and carry out routine health checks. Nurses also conduct Chronic Disease management Clinics for asthma, COPD, CHD and Diabetes.

Phlebotomists

Normally working Monday to Friday.  She is currently on sick leave until mid September, her phlebotomy shifts are being covered by Ruth Scott and Pam Chisholm who are kindly helping us out from other practices.
